We have a nice lean orange cat in the neighborhood who sometime comes around (and takes cat treats). My dad had one too - more average, not fat. I've drank a few from these cats - they do interesting stuff, but of all the cats I've had, none were orange.
This one is pretty standard fare New England Style IPA. It's cloudy, yellow and not very fizzy. The aroma is nice and skunky. The taste is also pretty standard for the style - some malts showing though funky hops. The aftertaste is nice and bitter.
Not recommended. It's a very good ale, but overpriced - this style always comes out pretty good and this is not exceptional enough to warrant a huge premium. I'm enjoying it though. The fat cat needs to go on a diet.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy honey color with a one finger head; decent retention and a squiggle or two of lacing
Smell: Pineapple and mango with a squirt of orange
Taste: Pineapple and mango forward with orange flavors adding some citrus and modest bitterness; a touch of pine, after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A good straightforward NE IPA, right down the middle of the fairway

Hazy orange pour with a fluffy white head. some lacing early on but fades pretty quick. The smell of the beer has nice ripe orange and mango notes. The taste had some some peach and tropical flavors going on. The feel is smooth and juicy. Overall a very solid NEIPA.

A - Super soupy orange, hazy with a lot of particulates, a middling off white head, tinted orange, pretty quick fade but leaving lots of lacing, small bubble and rockiness.
S - Sharp nose of citrus and mild pine, a hop line that dances into a bit of sharp wildness. Delicious promise.
T - Superb flavor opens in fresh citrus hop, strong malt core suggests cracker and bread, and a moderate bitter finish.
M - Moderate body, with a strong dry aspect but a soft juice-like acidity in the finish.
O - Superb. A very well-built orange juice oriented NE IPA. Not as soft as some, but very satisfying.

Expensive but fantastic NEIPA. ABV is very well hidden. Very crushable. Will seek it out every time.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about twenty two dollars. Have heard of, but never seen this brew before (new to MA?). Just ok, nothing special, no way worth this price point.

Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. "This Is Not My Beautiful Beer"
ONE PINT can contract brewed at Dorchester Brewing Co. and coded "FOCBEAUT2-AH 1352"
$5.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Great label art. Very cloudy orange body with lots of bubbles streaming quickly to the surface, keeping the inch and a half of off-white foam intact. The aroma is resinous, piney, and juicy with pineapple and mango. The flavor then delivers just that with a bit of tangerine and orange thrown in. It's big and juicy but the piney and spicy hops keep it from becoming sweet like a glass of orange juice. A median bitterness backs it as well, and some bitterness lingers in the finish once the malt subsides. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and zesty with carbonation. Looking back, the head dropped in an appropriate amount of time, and it's left some very nice lacing behind. Overall it's quite a nice NE IPA , and, one that's actually from New England. A toast to Billy the cat!

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left some lacing on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas oranges, pineapples, and mangos are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having a blend of flavors of citrus and tropical fruit hops along with faint hints of pine towards the finish. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA is quite juicy and is very easy to drink.
