3/14/21 dating on the bottom of this tall can.
Full on juiced/hazed, and a nice look to the extensive fine, scattered sheeting going on here.
Minty pineapple and lime on the sniff.
Tasty high octane brew with the 10% somewhat but not all the way hidden. Ripe tropical fruits like pineapple, grapefruit and lime all coming to mind. Alcohol/juniper again joining the mix.....freshly flavorful, complex and quite tasty...more quality brew from Fat Orange Cat ... heady brew that worked just fine as a night capper kinda beer.....well worth a try

From the bottom of the can: 03/14/21 11:54"
Appearance: The body of the beer is nearly opaque, allowing very little light through and no shadows or shapes. The body is a dull orange color that is a bit dark and has a manilla envelope color to it. The head is large and lumpy with a creamy texture and a off-white, slightly tan color. It leaves nice sheets of lacing on the glass.
Aroma: It has a pleasant grapefruit scent that is bright with a very light hint of alcohol. It smells enticing.
Taste: Grassy, cabbage, and hay-like flavors come through at first. These fade after a few sips and don't seem to come back at all. Some sweet peach flavor comes through from time to time while sipping the beer, and it compounds in flavor and sweetness as the beer is sipped. There is a light bit of mango and some light alcohol flavor. The aftertaste flip-flops between tasting grassy and tasting like peach infused ice water.
Mouthfeel: It is smooth with low bitterness. Easy to drink. Slightly milky in texture.
Overall: The beer tastes alright but the grassy character sometimes makes it a bit unpleasant to drink. As a whole it still has good flavor the majority of the time. The can does state "10% ALC. by VOL." and the alcohol is present in the flavor, but at such a high ABV it's not a detractor. I probably wouldn't pick it up again but it was good enough to try once. I'd recommend grabbing a single of it or a taster glass.

A: Pours a murky almost milky pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright orange + bright yellow + apricot + peach + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy creamy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film covering just about 50% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/mango + tropical/pineapple + citrus/grapefruit + citrus/orange + gooseberry + lychee + stone fruit/peach hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + toasted + caramel + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary + caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + toasted + caramel + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary + caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango + tropical/pineapple + citrus/grapefruit + citrus/orange + gooseberry + lychee + stone fruit/peach + dank/resinous hops that impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving moderate lingering tropical + citrus + dank hop flavors. Hints of alcohol booziness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a moderate amount of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a moderate amount of dryness in the finish. Slight hints of alcohol warming.
O: Pretty easy to drink considering the strength and the alcohol is fairly well hidden with a decently creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a wonderful tropical + citrus + stone fruit + dank hop profile.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a bright orange color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very good aroma of citrus fruit, hops, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish; not a big factor), a moderate amount of hops (not overdone), a lot of citrus fruit (orange fruit, in particular), and some tropical fruit (pineapple and mango). This is a fruity, sweet, and extremely vibrant flavor. A good balance of fruity sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Well done.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly done, easy to like DIPA. Worth a try.

From a big ol pint can into a sampling glass. Pours a pretty color and makes for a bright white head. Sticky foam lace on the glass. Very floral on the nose.
Hits the palate with a wave of fruity booze. Juicy on the tongue. I prefer a more dry double IPA but some will enjoy this as is. The pint can serving is more than enough for me tonight.

Can dated 3-10-20 into tulip pint. Pours a hazy golden amber with a modest and short-lived off-white head. Initial impression is intense sticky citrus and caramel, well-balanced and somewhat sweet, but with enough background bitterness to make it invite the next sip. Mouthfeel is very rich, sticky, and quite smooth for the ABV. Speaking of which, the alcohol is surprisingly well hidden - this definitely doesn't drink like a ten-percenter. Finish is sticky and somewhat sweet, with very little residual bitterness. Thoroughly enjoyable DIPA!

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that consistently left a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of gooseberries and pineapples are present in the nose.
T: The taste is quite complex and has flavors of gooseberries, lychee, mangos, peach and pineapple. Some hints of alcohol is perceptible in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You can definitely perceive that this is a heavy duty beer from its taste but it is rather drinkable despite the bits of alcohol in the taste.
Serving type: can

Really cool collab love both cover arts paid the premium though around 7 bucks for the pounder.
A - Well I guess everyone still obsessed with hazy IPA's they are quite good. Beer is a fairly dark amber brown orange with an impressive 1/2 inch of froth that settles slowly to a sticky lace ring.
S - Agree with other reviewer it does smell quite tropical in the hop profile mostly orange papaya and some fruit skins.
T - Wow that is some balance fruit hops very little bitterness on the palate just enough to cover the massive 10% ABV repeated sips do produce more of a bitterness and it does have a bit of warmth on the stomach.
M - More medium body the ABV is there but it's a creeper.
Overall love the American Psycho reference I can see Nightmare's influence on the overall brew. Never seen a collab with two cover arts like this would love to see other brewery's team up with Nightmare.

Poured from 16oz tall can into a tulip. Canned 3/10/20.
Appearance: super hazy orange hue with a thick head of frothy ivory foam. It looks great!
Smell: I could smell a bright, yet creamy, orange aroma the instant I started pouring. Upon closer inspection, I get papaya and mango along with the orange. Sweetness is present, but surprisingly mild. I really like it.
Taste: super creamy and juicy with orange as well as earthy tropical fruit flavors. I don't know if this is brewed with lactose, but given the smoothness and creaminess it wouldn't surprise me.
Mouthfeel: rich body with a huge, well-integrated carbonation and super-duper creaminess. I love it.
Overall: this beer really works for me; it ticks a whole lot of boxes and is balanced and well-conceived. I dig it!
