Details from Can; Double India Pale Ale, with Lactose, Vanilla and Banana. A collaboration between Fat Orange Cat (North Haven, CT) and Alvarium (New Britain, CT.) Look: Visually a very thick looking hazy IPA, from can; 8.5%. Like my last review, I may not be the best to judge the smell; with a slight cold. Looks delicious, The thin head dissipates leaving a ring and some clouds of foam at the top of the glass. Slightly heavy mouthfeel, I guess from the Lactose.Like the last review, smells very different from most of what I usually drink; IPA, IIPA, Stouts; some Porters, love Belgian styles. Like the last review, a good tasting IIPA with interesting flavors. Since the last two were 10%, this is a good tasting and beautiful 8.5%. Quite enjoyable, a thick texture and strong taste, but not over powering with the vanilla and banana.
