16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of citrus, orange, grapefruit, guava and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

16oz can at Hops & Bottles. Hazy yellow pour, small white foamy head. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit peel. Taste is fruity, citrusy, zesty. Creamy, smooth feel.

Bringing out more haze for the day of the cats, Fat Orange Cat brewers nestle into their comfort zone with a flavorful and aromatic hop bomb that is basically catnip for hop-heads.

Burnt lemon and cloudy in appearance, Dia de los Gatos releases a creamy eggshell cap and a bountiful perfume of citrus, light tropics, berry and herb. A brisk grain character brings a part-malt, part-cereal sweetness that glosses the tongue with suggestions of angel food cake, cookie dough and powdered sugar. Hops quickly step in with a fruity balance seemingly of under ripened orange, white grapefruit, yuzu, passionfruit, kiwi and gooseberry before trailing into a spicy bitterness of balsa, tea leaf, verbena and aromatic grasses.

Medium-light in body, the ale shows a dry creaminess that finishes less flavorful but more refreshing than most hazy ale. It's a highly drinkable, fruity hop bomb of a beer that's very manageable for the senses.
