From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This beefy brew pours a dark brownish
black with a decent head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring and light
dusty layer with faint lacing. Nose of rich chocolate, vanilla, cream, brulee,
char, roasted malts, and subtle nutty malts. Flavors hit the mark with dark
chocolate, char, roast, vanilla cream, brulee, dark berry nuances of black
and blue berry, and nutty malt notes. Mouth feel is medium, medium
light leaning towards light carbonation, smooth, rich, moderately coating,
and finishing with a solid bitter malt note.
Overall, a solid American porter!
