FirkinStein Nor’Easter Ale on tap at the Knot Pub in NS near the brewery. Mahogany-red body with great clarity but a small weak head. This is a clean, hoppy red ale. The mild aroma has more malts than hops but this is reversed in the stronger, moderately bitter, flavor. Too much bitterness for the level of hop flavor and aroma. Smooth medium body with light carbonation.
