Pours pitch black. 2 finger tan head. Head retention isn't the best, though, for the ABV not bad. No lacing on the glass, but the head dissipates to ring around the glass at beer level.
The nose has hints of pecan in it, though, since it's in the name, not surprising. I do get hints of chocolate also.
Taste - Yeah, this has a ton of pecan in it. You get it throughout the beer. Lots of caramel in it also. Just a hit of a dark chocolate, but the pecan is the star of the show here.
Very thick. Very rich. Very creamy. Slight alcohol burn, but very minimal.
