Description: Experimental pale ale featuring expressive German yeast culture. Dry-hopped with Amarillo hops.
Hazy yellow.
Crowler from today.
Appearance: Clear copper white head.
Smell: pine and grapefruit. sweet. Malty sweetness dominates. Sugary hard candy comes to mind. (Rock candy maybe?).
Taste: grapefruit, pine, slightly Bitter. Major amount of sweetness & malt caramel balance. Biscuit, brown sugar.
Mouthfeel: slick dry wcipa mouthfeel.
Malty presence balances well.
Overall: well balanced. Tastes like a 3 Floyd’s ipa though. For a wcipa very malt forward and sweet. Good, but not sure if this was intentional or this was brewed some time ago and saved until after covid reopening, and the flavor reflects age.
