Served at the brewery in a stemmed glass. Decent off white head with good lacing. The body of the beer was amber and clear. Nice aroma of orange blossoms. First sip was full of citrusy grapefruit followed by the hops kick, with a clean finish. The 8.5 abv is well blended into the taste of the beer. Illegitimus is totally legit!

On tap at the brewery. Thanks, Dave!
A clear orange with a dense, off-white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is bright and fruity, with a nice blend of pine, grapefruit and some tropical fruit. Malt character is minimal, but is present as a mild doughy note. The palate is creamy with a nice blend of hop bitterness and fruit, the blend of grapefruit, passionfruit and peaches being really nice. Drying on the finish with a touch of heat, this beer is very nice.

Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a clear, golden color. It has a frothy white head that left lots of lacing. Good nose. Citrus, lemon and floral notes. The taste is good. A bit bitter, almost resinous flavor, lemon, citrus, no sweetness.
