A very good stout. Nothing especially outstanding, but certainly a good beer. ABV is nicely hidden, very smooth flavor.

Poured into a Snifter glass at the brewery. From what I could gather from the server, the name came from a popular watering hole. Caramel colored head with decent lacing. The body of the beer is black as coal, what you would expect of an Imperial Stout. The first sip reveals chocolate, malts, some tanginess and a bit of the 10.5% abv. Despite the double-digit alcohol content it is well balanced, without the 'burn'.
