This Fox Farm was gifted by a professional BA beer slinger on 4/15, my first encounter was on Memorial Day-and I saved this can for Fourth of July Weekend. Pours light yellow with a creamy froth that reduces to sticky laces on the glass.
This is a creamy light lemony concoction with floral, lemon grass aroma. Taste is a light lager with lemony zest. The lemon delight has flattened a bit in the last 3 months but this is a delightful summer refresher. Feel is light, refreshing, definitely a summer beer.
My luck I’m sitting on the deck (68’) and wearing a sweat shirt. Overall it’s a 4 for what it is: hop-forward American blond, which is my favorite type of American!

Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy goldenstraw with a two finger head; strong retention with a few shards lingering
Smell: Orange creamsicle and lemongrass
Taste: Orange creamsicle forward with a lemongrass element building; moderately bitter in the back half but the sweeter aspect does linger underneath
Mouthfeel: Light body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: Fox Farm now characterizes this as an APA but I think the way they previously categorized it as a Blonde is more fitting; this is very light but packs a lot of flavor

16 oz can, dated 5/22/24
Pours a cloudy light yellow color, foamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is floral and citrusy. Taste is also hop forward, but a touch sweet. Medium bodied, a softer mouthfeel

Pours a hazy golden with overproofed bubbly dough like head. An undercurrent of tangy citrus and maybe sour mango on the nose. There's some peppery coniferous bitternerss and like a touch of tangy hop character that seems to want to pop out, but doesn't. The feel is creamy and I taste a slight bit of salinity. It's dry. I want more sharpness, more crispness out of this and the creaminess kind of deters that from occurring here. This is definitely a Fox Farm beer as it seems like it was made with finesse, but finesse isn't always what's desired.

Hazy pale banana with two fingers of white foam head. Good retention and thick, sloppy lacing.
Grass and fruity pineapple, lemon and clementine hops in the aroma.
Grassy, hay-like taste with less of the fruit from the nose. Light water cracker malt. Maybe some hints of lemon and underripe pineapple core. Dull, earthy bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium bodied for the style with tight carbonation.
I’m sure this would be super refreshing on a hot summer day. Having a hard time getting into the vibe in late December though.

On-tap 12/22/2021 at Craft Burgers & Beer in Pawtucket, RI, served in a US pint glass.
A: The beer is a light yellow color, with a medium white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains citrus, grassy hops and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with a good citrus fruit flavor that is quickly followed by a nice grassy hops bitterness. The malt character is on the light side but brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Very crisp and very smooth, light body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Very tasty, goes down very easily, not filling at all, mild kick, very good representation of style. This is a very good beer to drink for a long time.

16oz. Can served in a tumbler. Pours An orange-yellow hue with a slight haze to the clarity and a loose, off-white head that dissipates into a consistent slick. Nose is subtle - hints of citrus fruit, pith an light, crackery malts. Taste consistent with nose. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively carbonation that leaves a slight prickle across the palate. Overall, very drinkable with a fair amount of flavor, given the abv.
