Appearance: Arrives with the liquid the color of raspberry juice and a pinkish head that fades to a film leaving some streaks behind
Smell: Raspberry dominates with plento of lactic funk and a strong oaky presence
Taste: Lactic raspberry forward with a lively amount of fruit; funky elements grow as the liquid swirls across the taste buds with a lot of oak emerging, after the swallow, to provide a dry finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with low carbonation; puckery
Overall: This is a real "wow" beer; I am partial to raspberry sours but, with the oak and the funk, this may be the best one I have had

Pours the most beautiful raspberry color you’ve ever seen with a sudsy raspberry colored head that flees the scene of this beer with extreme prejudice. The nose is raspberry purée by the gallon and a nice amount of oak.
The taste is raspberries, raspberry jam on a spoon, then some more raspberries - and a nice bit of funky juju, then a nice little oat at the very back of the palate. This is absolutely delicious.
The mouthfeel is per the style, a spritzy dance across your palate. Quite simply, this is a world class wild ale, especially if you love raspberries.
Raises hand.

Pours clear, magenta in color with minimal head. Taste is fresh raspberry, sour mix and oak. The aftertaste is medicinal and sinks the beer.. Sour, moderate carbonation, light body. Really nice sour. Raspberry shines through but yikes the aftertaste. First sip was great, after that just no.

Batch #2 bottled November, 2020.
Pours a bright, semi-translucent red with a finger's worth of fizzy white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is tart raspberry. While somewhat one dimensional, the aroma is nonetheless very pleasant, and avoids the cloying sweetness I sometimes experience.
Taste is wonderful. Like the nose, it's tart raspberry, but with a nice balance of tart, sweet, a little bit of funk, and a little bit of oak. Nice long, finish. Great beer.

This one pours a nice and jammy looking red color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like sharp and fresh jammy raspberry, a dry lemony aroma, apple skin, and white wine.
This is all raspberry up front, slightly sweet, mostly sour, but then it transitions to a much more dry funky finish. It's about a 6/10 on the sourness scale, with some nice wine and oak barrel on the back end.
This is light bodied, and very drinkable, with a nice crisp and clean feel to the beer in each sip.
This is carefully and artfully done.

On tap at Fox Farm. Pours a bright ruby red color with over 2 inches of frothy pink head. Tons of lacing. Sweet and tart aroma with lots of raspberry and some white and red wine. The taste is just like the aroma. Raspberries with a mix of red and white wine as well as some green apple. Tart but with a nice amount of sweetness. Lots of carbonation with a dry mouthfeel. Probably my favorite version of this beer to date.
