Witch Meadow (2025)

500ml bottle served in a tulip. Pours one shade shy of black with a thin, mocha-colored head that quickly disperses into a tight band around the shoulders. Nose expresses notes of toffee, spirits and a suggestion of cocoa towards the back. Taste is quite lovely - very toffee forward with ethanol across the middle and cocoa/char at the finish. Mouthfeel is light- medium with an oiliness to the texture and a slight alcohol burn that lingers from middle to end. Carbonation is slightly assertive. Such a great beer. I look forward to this release every year. I think 4-6 months in the cellar will really open this beer up.
