Juicy/Eastcoast/DDH
Appearance - Pours a clear gold with four fingers of frothy white head. Poufy lace left on the glass.
Smell - Bold aroma of tropical and citrus hops, slight hint of pine, grapefruit peel, pineapple, bready malts, caramel, earthy yeast.
Taste - Hit upfront with the tropical and citrus hops, followed up by flavours of juicy fruit and the malts. Slight soapiness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky and chewy with the lingering hop bitterness on the palate.
Overall - Flavourful and sessionable. I think the aroma of this beer outshined the taste by a small margin. Very impressed by the appearance on this one (head retention lasts for days).
