Silver Medal Winner at the 2016 VA Craft Brewers Cup.
Brewed with 6 different specialty malts makes for a complex profile, that is slightly on the sweeter side. It balances well with the piney/floral notes of the Northern Brewer, Willamette hops, with just a hint of smokiness. This is an American Style Brown Ale.

On-tap at Castleburg Brewery & Taproom, Richmond, VA
A: The beer is brown when viewed from afar but when held up to the light it is clear amber in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin light beige head.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grainy and nutty malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of dark and nutty malts. There is a light amount of visible carbonation.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a nice brown ale. I liked the dark malt flavors in the taste as it wasn't as nutty compared to other beers in the style.
