We stopped in around 2pm this past Friday on our way from Pittsburgh to Columbus for a wedding weekend. We drove past the place the first time because there was no sign by the road, for either the brewery or the winery, of which it is both.
The place is definitely a winery first, a pizza counter second, a gift shop third, and a brewery somewhere much further down the list. They pretty much put a three tap keggerator in the corner of the winery tasting room and called it a day. There were three beers on tap, a pilsner, a pale ale and an IPA. We each got a flight of the three. I couldn't even make it through the 5 oz. of pilsner, the taste of cleaning solution was so strong. The pale and IPA were also undrinkable, although not nearly as bad as the pilsner. The pizzas coming across the counter looked like they were probably good, but we had no reason to stay more than about five minutes. Maybe the wine is better?
