Taste: Spicy and complex comes to mind. Licorice, deep dark malts, dark fruit, oak, whiskey notes, vanilla, some coffee, alcohol finish. Intense malty boozy woody nose. Black, opaque, dark tan head with some lace on the glass. Full but not really heavy or sticky body. Named after a volcano in Iceland. Reminds me of a cousin to the Dark Lord RIS Stout by 3 Floyds. 89 IBUs
