draught
Thin and creamy, beige head. Dark, see through, auburn look. Subtle, sweet & sweet spiced (mix of allspice, clove & nutmeg - one or more of these spices) aroma, with dark roasted caramelized malt, as well. Medium body, with a bit of thickness, at first. Some sweetness, as expected, sweet spice blend, on top of medium heavy caramelized malt, with a whiff of butterscotch, underlying and a finish of mainly a spiced caramel note.

Taste: a complex spicy, malty, bready, woody notes, some alcohol kick in finish. Same with the nose. Deep ruby red almost mahogany hue, clear, smaller head with some lattice of lace on snifter. Medium body. Warming and smooth with hints toward the German Celebrator Doppelbock. 16 IBUs
