Clear lighter brown body, no head that lasts. Smell picks up the sweet toffee and brown sugar as well slight hops and barley bite, with light booze and smoke in the background. Taste has all of this, plus caramel, sweetbread, a hint of grass, and molasses. Not sweet for style, harder to find these days. Feel is medium bodied with traditional snarl on the finish plus a little hop flair. Stays decently dry.

Taste: Complex, rich malty, bread, brown sugar, smokey, with a warming finish. Semi sweet, malty dark bread, slightly boozy nose. Dark mahogany hue, pretty clear, delicate tan head and lace in snifter. Medium to Full body. Balanced malt and some hop in the end. Will sneak up on you with the alcohol of 11% ABV. 60 IBUs
