This is a Belgian abbey style beer. The color of this beer is a deep reddish amber. It has a fruity component in the aroma and flavor. It is also quite malty with notes of spices and dry fruits. Bitterness is quite low. It finishes sweet but without being cloying.

Really impressed with this one, the wife and I agree, in a blind taste test we wold guess this is from belgium, very much reminded us of some of the quads we tried on the trip. Chestnut golden brown with the thinnest of white lacing and cap. Smell has dry dark fruits, caramel, bready malt, additional fruit esters, and the belgian spices. Taste has the same flavors, but really brings out golden raisin, fig, caramel, warm booze artfully, some earth, and the finishing spices. Feel is smooth, warm, and layered with the feel of the various flavors. The wife loved it

Taste: complex, rich, bready, woody, dark fruit, semi sweet, malt forward, big warming kick to the finish. Same with the nose. Deep copper hue, clear, sizable head and delicate lace on the snifter. Medium/Full body. The alcohol will warm up the soul. 16 IBUs
