This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like sherry, honey, white wine, pear, citrus, and oak.
This is truly great stuff - the sherry finishing gives it a wonderful subtle sweetness, honey and pear like to my palate. There's some white wine, oak, and orange rind, with a hint of stone fruit as well.
This is light bodied, clean, and with a slight and soft level of carbonation to it.
I wish Amalgam released more beers - they are almost continuously excellent.
