Pours a brown color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of strong coffee, roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of yeast, and slight alcohol. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, strong roasted malt, slight alcohol, coffee, sweet malt, earthy malt, slight hops, and a hint of smoke. Overall, decent aroma, but better body, blend, and complexity.
