This is a quality wee heavy scotch ale. Very rich and malty with caramel, toffee and a hint of smoke. It's not smokey but it definitely carries some subtle smokiness to it.
Deep brown black color with a nice creamy tan head that laces the glass as you drink it.
Dark fruits (plums) evident on the aroma and the taste (raisins)
Full bodied...creamy texture....8.9% and it feels warmly boozy but not alcohol laden. Very enjoyable overall and well made.
