Malty with notes of caramel, plums, and bready toasted malts. Body is high side of medium or low side of full.
Rich and substantial, yet not cloying. Just a hint of musty notes probably from the yeast as I picked it up on a couple of their other beers as well.
Excellent winter offering. I wish more places would tackle the bock style but it takes some skill and commitment from the brewery and some do not have the space to dedicate to the lagering. Still, very impressed with this offering.
