Had a pint with lunch on the 4th of July for $5.50.
Beer was served black with a nice off white head.
Nose was a decent touch of citrus and a hint of roastiness.
Initial sips were very roast forward. Subsequent sips were balanced nicely by citrus and pine. No residual hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel was medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall this style of brew is not for everyone but if you enjoy a bold roasted coffee and like your hops this brew is for you!
