Had a pint with Da Boss while having lunch out for the first time in 2 months for $6.25.
Beer was served dark brown with a nice off white head with the original pour.
Nose was very nice, dark chocolate, a hint of smoke, and a nice touch of roasted malts.
Taste was well balanced. Malt base was moderately sized with cocoa, a touch of coffee, and nuts. Finished very well balanced with no sign of astringency that tends to be common with this style.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall a very flavorful beer that is darn close to be sessionable. Would have again!
