A:
PoursĀ a hazy brass color
with a billowing, rocky white head. Great retention; lovely lingering lacing. (4.5)
S:
Lemon rind, pepper, floral, doughy yeast. (4.25)
T:
Follows the nose. Bready, spicy/bright, floral and a little sweet. (4.25)
M:
Medium body with active carbonation,well-hidden alcohol and finish. (4.25)
O:
This is a very nice, well-made version of a style I really enjoy. It pours great. Looks Duvel-esque. The aroma is a little fruitier than I was expecting with a decent amount of spicy lemon. It tastes right along the same lines. Refreshing but filling. Warming but quenching. Sweet but spicy. It could maybe be a bit drier/crisper but all-in-all it is a delicious beer and I would have it again without a second thought. (4.25)

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fruity flavour with sweet malt is enjoyable. Taste is a nice mix of fruity flavours with some sweet malt with light cereal notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very well brewed with good drinkability.
