The powerful aromas of toast, caramel and freshly roasted coffee make a robust beer with well-presented bitterness is balanced by a slightly sweet finish, giving it a round, pleasant texture and a lingering finish.

Serving: Crowler (but labeled, does that make it a giant can?)
No date, but fresh

A:
Pours a cloudy mahogany color with a finger of airy tan head that drops to a film. Middlin' retention; vague lacing. (4)

S:
Mocha. Bakers chocolate, roast nuts, coffee. (4)

T:
Follows the aroma. Chocolate with light coffee flavors, some mineraliness and light hop bite. (4.25)

M:
Medium body with medium carbonation and a rich, soft finish. (4)

O:
A nice, together porter.
Nothing too flashy, right and delicious while still being drinkable. Pours pretty nice. It is a round choclatey, coffee-tinged porter that just verges on "big". Very nice. I like these guys' beers more and more every time I try one. Would have again. (4)

Crowler: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry roasted malt notes with some bitter chocolate notes is pretty enjoyable. Taste is also a solid mix of roasted malt with some black chocolate notes, some light bitter notes with a light coffee finish. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Solid interpretation of the style.
