This is an interesting blend of traditional and new world styles. The look is a hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Smell is sweet from the traditional candi and a little hoppy. Taste is much like the nose and is actually a little too sweet. Feel is middleweight with a bit of bite. Carbonation is lower that I'd expect.
I've had a few beers from this brewer, and I'd have to say this is my least favorite, that being said, I applaud the work done on it. I just think I am a little more traditional about my tripel.

Crowler: Poured a hazy blonde color ale with a nice large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry floral hoppy notes with light sweet cereal notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of dry floral hoppy notes with light fruity ester with some sweet cereal notes and light bready notes with some residual sugar notes perceptible. Body is about average for style with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Splendid tripel with nice mix of new world hops.
