Crowler: Poured a cloud/hazy bright yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dank hoppy notes with some tangerine and citrus notes with light tropical notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of dank hoppy notes with huge tangerine and citrus notes with light tropical fruit notes and some residual sugar notes. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation. Hugely enjoyable IPA thought carbonation could be somewhat more lively.

No date (but definitely fresh)

A:
PoursĀ a milly straw color with a nice frothy two inches of white head. Meh retention; scummy lacing. (3.75)

S:
A trifecta of tropical fruit, resinous hops and animal crackers, vanilla-orange weed. (4)

T:
Not super bitter, some grassy hops, citrus rind, touch of oxidation/alcohol, sweet biscuity malt. (3.75)

M:
Medium body with moderate carbonation and a fairly dry finish with some malt heft. (3.75)

O:
A nice IPA.
It looks, smells and tastes nice, but it needs a little oomph somewhere along the line in my opinion. Cloudy with all right retention (especially for a crowler treated like a can). It smells nice, sweet, neutral malt holding up a mix of fruity and sticky hops. There is a little oxidized taste and a little solventy whiff (barely there) but it is good. Fairly drinkable and pretty good.
I could see it being really something else on tap or possibly with some small tweaks, but it doesn't quite pop for me. Very tasty regardless. (3.75)
