Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of intense coconut notes with some rich chocolate notes with some woody bourbon notes. Taste is a mix of intense chocolate and fudge notes with some woody bourbon notes and residual sugar notes and faint vanilla notes. Body is full with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation with light warming alcohol. The bourbon notes are cutting through the intense coconut notes, which results in a more balanced and drinkable beer than the non-BA version.
