Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with light retention and minor lacing notes. Aroma of sweet fudge notes with some strong apple brandy notes with some woody notes with faint apple notes. Taste is also a complex mix of sweet fudge notes offset by faint apple and dry woody apple brandy notes with some madeira notes. Body is full with oily texture and medium carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Not sure I am the biggest fan of this barrel with this cocoa focus stout.
