Bottle: Poured a deep brown/burgundy color ale with a small dark brown foamy head with some retention and light lacing. Aroma of heavy caramelized malt notes with some chocolate notes with some nice bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of heavily caramelized malt notes with some chocolate notes with some dry woody bourbon notes with light vanilla undertones. Body is full with good carbonation with some warming alcohol notes.Solid BA barleywine.
