The Bourbon is good, the cognac barrelling lends support. Noticeable mouthfeel. Very good long finish balanced. Highly enjoyed and showing quality. Not aged so long.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some strong woody bourbon notes and vanilla with some Cognac notes also noticeable. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some strong woody notes and vanilla notes and with some bourbon and Cognac notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Solid double BA stout with great quality bourbon notes.
