I hate to rain on parades, but while I recognize some unique complexity in this marzen, a little smoke with the yeast, I just couldn't drink much of it tonight.

Can: Poured a clear amber color lager with a large off-white foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt cereal notes with some subtle light dry hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of caramel malt cereal notes with some floral dry hoppy notes and light faint residual sugar notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Good marzen with good drinkability and nice biscuit notes. OK lager but malt bill is a bit too grainy for me.
