Decent stout, but I can’t see this as a milk stout. The head starts nice but disappears quickly. Taste has initial good roast presence, but then I started to detect some phenolic taste I wasn’t expecting. I don’t detect lactose rich sweetness. This isn’t a bad American stout, but not my favorite.
