Pours your typical light brown scotch ale. That's where the similarities end. Aroma and flavor are one in the same here. I get a really smokey and sweet malt backbone. I really enjoyed this. Medium bodied with a sticky finish.

So peaty. I generally like scotch ales but prefer the more caramel variety to the heavy peat taste. Not a bad beer for what they intended but not my preference for the style.
