Gose ale brewed with pink guava. Poured from a 16oz can into a New Belgium tulip. The pour is pale gold with a slight haze and a thin head with good retention for a sour brew. I definitely get the guava fruit on the nose, along with some grapefruit pulp, lemon, and a hint of honeydew melon.

Light body with a soft feel and a refreshing, fruity flavor. Up front is a brief, faint, grainy sweetness that is quickly followed up by guava, some lemon, and a bit of salinity. It almost reminds me of citrus cooler-flavored gatorade. The guava and lemon intensify as the beer moves across the palate. The finish is fruity and a little dry. Overall, the beer is easy to drink and very thirst-quenching. It is true to the style, yet the guava gives a nice added dimension.
