Drinking this at The Hoppy Trout Brewery in beautiful downtown Andrews NC.
Looks dark amber with a tannish foamy head that lasted. Beer glass is ringed with brown sugar.
Smells lightly bready sweet.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style.
Overall this is a really good and unusual sweet potato beer. There are 14 pounds of yam in addition to marshmallows, brown sugar and spices.
This is probably the number one requested beer to be brewed by Tommy the brewer.
Usually only comes out a few times a year, don't miss it because it won't last long.
