Powerplant is lager in it's most natural state. Brewed with fine pilsner malts from Bamberg and fermented with German yeast before being lagered for 42 days. The beer is crisp and carries a distinct noble hop character from the Saaz and Mittelfrüh hops. The flavours are subtly floral and herbacious, with just the right amount of bitterness to keep you refreshed.

L- Mid gold, slightly hazy, creamy looking 1Cm white head (holds well).
S- Very mild just some grain.
T- Hoppy dry (no weird hop-fruit-citrus stuff though). Plus some light malts. So net-net = quite hoppy-dry.
F- Sessionable though not too exciting.
O- Not enough of note going on to buy this again. Fans of hoppier lager might get more from it.
Review 1956/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed!
A pint on tap at the Duke of Wellington Portobello Road, London W11. (A pint and a half cost £9.25 - ouch!).
