Poured a muddy brown body with minimal head and lace ring down the glass. A mostly vanilla aroma with some minimal coffee. Beer is medium to heavy bodied with a mostly vanilla bean sweetness along with only a smidge of alcohol on finish (well-hidden ABV). It's called a barleywine which is something I don't really get, but the beer has a good malt heftiness to make it a slow sipper. Nothing rough about beer and in fact has some sweetness that makes it an easy sipper.
