Review is of 750ml bought in Nov 16 and put in 50 deg cellar opened on 2/23/17-

Slight haze, golden ale with wispy ginger ale like quick head. I got a peachy, wood chip, slight funk smell. very pleasant. Taste was ultra clean and fresh almost champagne. Sour and dank without the boozy after taste but with the depth of some formidable Belgium counter parts. I really appreciate the way these guys kept the ABV down but got such a tasty blend. Hoping some of this was barrelled for future blends. shows much promise.

Decent smaller fizzy head murky blond honey color.

Nose weird earthy woody funk, almost beach or sunscreen aroma, raw bread dough, kvass like bread and funk, soured malt, weird bacteria souring, maybe Berlinner like but more Kvass like.

Taste is very sour, lemony funk, again weird Kvass like soured bread and malt, lacto souring funk and maybe other stuff, prob spontaneous, very weird flavor too, it's not really unpleasant, just a weird souring character, not sure what got in there for this one.

Mouth is med bod little flemmy tart sour

Overall eh, first beer from then that was meh, likely spontaneously fermented and turned out weird, not sure if this is what they were hoping for, but that's what it is. Hopefully their other wild and spontaneous fermenting beers get something more fun in them.
