Dark gold, low smell but pleasant, bright galaxy hops, well balanced with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste, Stone Cow is producing high quality beer out of their barn - well worth the trip to Barre!

Pint can 5.5 %abv. N.E IPA
Slightly Hazy golden and orange color, lively with a fat, white foam top. Dissipation is slightly quick for the style, lays out to be only minimal coverage and no lacing.
The aroma has an earthy punch, grains, wheat and lightly malted barley. The hops come across as both earthy and sharp citrus with fruit juice style, pine sap, citrus, dry wheat and lightly sweet honey. A very nice, but not overwhelming nose.
The bodyfeel and texture is very light, super-crisp, slightly dry with a very dry-hopped feel and flavor effect. Some round and juicy feelings happen later with a very sharp and dry finish.
The flavor is dominated by an excellent, dry-earthy, bitter and piney hop complexity. The malt seems to compliment these hops perfectly with a ligh, golden, crispy and grainy effect. Sour and tangy wild fruits, tons of earthy, dried grains and pepper sums up the hoppy complexity pretty well. Drinkability is really off the charts. Medium complexity and depth of flavor but seriously enjoyable, especially if you like the earthy side of hops.

From a Growler, A hazy New England style IPA. Nice creamy head, unlike most of the style, has a bit of lacing. Citrus explosion, smooth and highly crushable.
