Appearance: hazy with a copper/deep orange colour. The head is big, light tan and well formed. It may not last long and presents little lacing.
Aroma: alcoholic vinous, sweet malts and red fruits notes.
Taste: confirms the aroma plus some toasty bread presence. No hops.
Mouthfeel: unctuous and oily, medium to low carbonation, high but not overwhelming alcoholic strength and a full body.
Finish: warming aftertaste.
Overall: nice doppelbock, thought it lacks bitterness. No bad feature but nothing outstanding either. Worthy a try.

The beer pours a malty brown base, white medium head, retention hold for about 30 minutes and signs of lacing upfront but no signs after the first few swigs. The smell is a pleasant light sweetness aroma of malts.
The taste is medium-strong of malts, not too chewy, good aftertaste. The beer partially cleanses the palette, it's never heavy. This is a nice beer to have a 2 beer or 1 Liter session with, after that would be to much at 8.9%
Final Thought: The beer smell and tastes like a lighter doppelbock which contradicts it's ABV, therefore I like it a lot! Thumbs up!
