50cl bottle from Munich Airpirt (€1.60):
Copper amber with a foamy, slightly off-white head that settles about 0.5cm but covers the surface well. The nose is slightly grainy before some cloves, banana & toasted notes show alongside some wheat & biscuit. It tastes a bit lighter than expected with banana, wheat & light cloves showing but it seemed quite light-bodied. There was bread malts & faint fruits on top of a smooth, under-carbonated body that I was expecting a bit more from.

CAN
Amber-tan with loose fade-y French vanilla head. 3.75
Buttered banana bread. 4
Wheat toast, mild clove, banana chips, and some melanoidins. Banana creme end. 3.75
Light, fizzy, snappy. 4

“Alt”? Slight darkness in having some Munich-y malts, but otherwise just a straight weiss. No wheat creaminess, though. Interesting, just too light. 3.75

Dark orange, a lot of fine foam, creamy.
A lot of cloves at the nose, with a bit of medicinal/band-aid. Malt.
Some malt and a light biscuit in the taste, wheat, less medicinal notes, and a sweetness, maybe a bit too strong, in the aftertaste.
Cloves again.
Not a very high drinkability.

500ml bottle. MHBE:08/11.

It pours a hazy brown with a frothy tan head that leaves some nice lacing as it recedes.

The smell is a combination of caramels, brownies, bananas, bread, and fruit. There is a sharp, perfumey, fruit character that really stings the nostrils if you take a good whiff.

The flavor is super lemony, with a hint of wheat bread. The mouthfeel is pretty highly carbonated and thinner than the norm, but it is refreshing as all hell.

If you like tart, refreshing wheat beers on a hot summer day in Bavarian this one isn't bad.
