Bottle. Very dark brown with a medium thick, creamy, tan head. Sticky lacing is apparent.
Gentle latte smell. Toasted bread present.
The taste is more robust. Cappuccino this time. Quite bitter.
There's some oatmeal smoothness with a vibrant carbonation. Medium to full body.
Better than a lot of xmas beers found in supermarkets.

Bottled in the darkest dark glass & a Lidl in the middle purchase
Pours a very very very dark brown body with massive thick tan head
Aroma is well done flapjack
Tastes like fairly decent instant coffee with the tiniest bit of oat milk

500ml bottle from Lidl supermarket (£1.49):
Dark & opaque with a 1cm creamy white head on top that holds well. The nose is chocolatey with lots of dark malts & some sweet oats. Definitely a rich beer on with caramel & brown sugars too. The taste was similar with a richness to it alongside the sweet malts & chocolate with a few oats towards the middle. Again it was quite a dark beer with bread malts & caramel as well as plenty of sugars throughout.

looks as a stout should
Big mocha nose. That's all but it's nice and clear.
Ashy mocha in taste, coffee bitterness, medium/high carb (bit too much). Very dry on the finish. Thin-ish

Good looking with peaty colour and offwhite head. Unable to pick up any clear smell (blame me or 'spoons, not the beer). Tastes of dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee and cardboard. There some bitterness int he finish and the vanilla lingers. Too much coffee for me. It has no place in the universe, never mindin stout! Otherwise it would be a fairly good sipper, although the cardboard thing was odd.
