330ml can from Lidl (£1.49):
Dark ruby to black with an opaque body & a half cm, foamy head that's light tan colour with bubbles around the sides. It's dark & malty with a pine backing, some biscuit & citrus too. The taste is more malty, lots of biscuit, caramel then the pine hop bitterness nearer the end but it's definitely not the west coast IPA flavour advertised on the can. It's quite a clean body with a citrus tang & a subtle pine bitterness but it's not what I expected & it was particularly great sadly.
