Trying their experimental ipa on tap at the brewery. It poured a clear yellow with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent is citrus and somewhat floral. The taste is slightly bitter with sweet malt balance. The Mouthfeel is fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a good beer and worth a try.

On tap at Belmont Brewing Company in Long Beach, CA.

Pours a slightly murky honey orange with a beige head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small dots and streaks of lace form on the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest and citrus fruit with some subtle malt aromas. Taste is the same with the malt coming through on the finish. There is a mild bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good IPA with some nice aromas and flavors.

A: Golden rod copper, unfiltered. Very minimal head up of large off white bubbles.

S: Lemon, peach and cereal grains

T: Very citrus. Starts off with pink grapefruit, blood orange and lemon peel which leads to an apricot finish. Not a lot of malt, hops dominate this beer. Honey malts can be found with toasted cashews and hay. Finishes sort of grainy with a minor dirty expression.

M: Medium body, a bit fuzzy across the palate.

D: Interesting brew, quite attractive in appearance. Not over the top hops but nice flavor none the less.

This was BBCs ale of the month. Pours a nice orange color with some haze to it. Nice thick white head that stayed through the whole glass. Hoppy grapefruit aroma. Taste is very balanced - lots of malt to back up the hops. Nicely drinkable IPA - not over the top at all with the hops.
