On tap at the Promenade Beer & Wine Festival held in Downtown Long Beach in Long Beach, CA.
Billed as a single malt and single hop beer brewed with 2-row malt and Simcoe hops.
Pours a hazy gold with a foamy off-white head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a slightly better hop presence in the aroma.
