Overall, I'll start off by saying it was solid, not spectacular, but solid. Now, that said, I found it to look good with a thick frothy head, and it smelled deliciously of mango and wheat beautifully blended. But the rest of it was not up to the same par - mouthfeel was astringent, and the taste was surprisingly more bitter than malty. Not what i had hoped for, but certainly something that some would like.

Was in love with their Blood Orange so figured I would give this a shot. The mango doesn’t pop out as much in this as the orange does in the other, but it still has a good mango taste. The wheat comes through clean and fresh. A great beer for grilling.

Sampled from a 12 oz can bought in Northern Florida, poured into a rounded pint glass.

L - Straw colored beer with a milky haziness and a strong, fluffy white head. This looks very much like a Belgian witbier.

S - The aromas also remind me of a witbier. I get clove, black pepper, and cracked grain on the nose, with a light tropical fruit note I presume is from the mango.

T - Fresh-tasting flavors of wheat cracker-like malt, grassy hops and a strong citrus note. The fruits seems like lemon to me early in the palate, then rounds out and becomes more tropical and even slightly sweet in the finish.

F - Thin body with light silkiness. Moderate carbonation. Low hops bitterness, but high enough to keep sweetness out of the main palate. Very low alcohol presence.

O - I'm not usually a fan of this style, but this is a crisp, refreshing beer that is great for a summer sipper. It really seems more akin to a Belgian wit to me than American wheat, but with stronger tropical and citrus character than a continental original would have. Whatever you call it, it is a much more impressive beer than I expected for the style.
